DOE wants your input

As part of the NEPA scoping process, DOE hosted 1 virtual public scoping meeting and will host 2 in-person meetings to provide an opportunity to gather information necessary to prepare an EIS for the Pacific Northwest Hydrogen Hub. All three meetings are open to the public and free to attend. The in-person meetings will be open-house style, and the public is welcome to come and go at any point throughout the 3-hour meeting duration. 

Representatives from DOE, DOE’s third-party NEPA contractor, and Pacific Northwest Hydrogen Association will be present to provide information on the proposed action and EIS process. The public is invited to provide oral and written comments at the meetings regarding the scope of the EIS.

Virtual Scoping Meeting

A virtual public scoping meeting was held on January 22, 2025 from 6-8 PM PST.

In-Person Scoping Meetings

Two in-person public scoping meetings will be held after the virtual meeting. The dates, times, and locations are provided below. Registration for these meetings is not required.

Ways to Provide Public Input

DOE welcomes written comments on the scope of the EIS until March 3, 2025.  Comments will be accepted and considered at any time during the EIS process. However, commenters should be aware that their comments should be timely for them to be fully considered.
