Developing of an RMP Process
The Bureau of Reclamation’s RMP Guidebook encourages a robust public involvement process where Tribes, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and the public can participate in the development of the RMP. Specifically, Reclamation is soliciting input regarding issues, opportunities, and constraints that can be addressed in the draft RMP. Reclamation also welcomes input on best available data, relevant information and references, or other data sources that will allow for the preparation of a robust draft RMP. Reclamation will provide multiple public input periods and public open houses for interested parties to participate and provide feedback on the draft RMP process.
Public Meetings
This virtual public meeting website will be accessible 24 hours a day. Visitors can view information about the project, read frequently asked questions, and submit comments. Additionally, the public can provide input and participate in the RMP process through attending an in-person public meeting. Reclamation held the first in-person public meeting on September 30, 2024, to gather public input on issues, opportunities, and constraints to be addressed in the RMP. The second in-person meeting will provide project updates, information on issues, opportunities and constraints, and outline the next steps in the RMP process. The second in-person meeting scheduled for February 13, 2025, has been canceled due to adverse weather conditions and storm warnings predicted for that afternoon.
CANCELED - In-person public meeting: February 13, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (MDT) at the Marshall Library, 113 S Garfield Ave, Pocatello, ID 83204.
