Resources

The Bureau of Reclamation will use the EA to evaluate the impacts of the proposed action on the natural and human environment.  Resources to be evaluated include, but are not limited to:

  • Cultural resources

  • Endangered Species Act–listed species

  • Fisheries and aquatic resources

  • Noise

  • Public health and safety

  • Recreation

  • Socioeconomics

  • Tribal interests

  • Utilities and service systems

  • Visual resources

  • Water resources and water rights

  • Wetlands

Impacts on these resources are yet to be determined. Details of the proposed action and anticipated impacts will be analyzed in the EA. The Bureau of Reclamation will make every effort to ensure there is clear and open communication with the public throughout the planning process.

Resource data collected by the Bureau of Reclamation in the project area includes:

  • Cultural resources inventory

  • Salmon Creek instream flow and habitat assessment

  • Wetland and aquatic resource delineation

  • ESA–listed species surveys
