On August 18, 2021, EMPSi facilitated a live public hearing webinar for the US Fish and Wildlife Service, which allowed attendees to learn more about the Service’s proposed critical habitat rule for the rufa red knot.

This webinar included a narrated slideshow presentation to provide an overview of the proposed rule, as well as a moderated live Q&A session with US Fish and Wildlife Service staff to answer questions from members of the public on the proposed rule. Additionally, the webinar included a facilitated public hearing portion, during which participants could offer public comments on the proposed rule via the Zoom web platform or over the phone.
